The Codebreaker ;;
!i! My carcass shivered slightly as I felt a gust of wind batter into my side. This land certainly was windy, yet it offered everything that I would need for my shirt time here. As another blast of wind hit me, I gazed at the ocean of green all around me. It was breathtaking, no one could ever attempt to say that its not. Well anyone in their right mind wouldnt. Snorting, I inhaled deeply, letting the oxygen expand my lungs. Each new scent that entered my nares was different. The smell of the fresh grass, the scent of the rivers of to the east, and certainly the fresh earthly scent. As another gust of wind tried to buffet me, I let my pistons carry me into a two beat. My pelvis rolled easily with each footfall, as I trotted in the direction of a small group of trees.
!i! Breath cames out alittle hurried as I slid to a gentle stop. Certainly it was turning into something more then a 'slight breeze'. I let my stilts carry meint a brisk walk. My carcass turned gracefully through the small clump of trees untill I was in a small glade. There was only about room for two beings. Yet it was the perfect place to shelter from the wind. Hopefully that would die down soon. I sighed and I let my pistons give way underneath me. As I layed down, my mind turned back to a year ago. When I met that stallion, and yes I am glad I did. For then I wouldn't be here today, and I wouldnt be the person I was today.
!i! That guy, he mended my heart then tore it to peices as he gradually got bored of me. Still now it was broken, but not as much as it was then. Though when I followed him, atleast I found out what he really was. A player and a pimp. Going from one mare to another, impregnating them. Just so he could get his genes everywhere, the ignorant. Each of those mares he spent time with would now have to raise a child alone. Yet each one proberly knew that they where better of without him. Glad am I, glad that I didn't have that special 'time' with Bomber. For then I would truelly be left in peices. I shook my tiara, I had to get those thoughts out of my head. For those memories where the past. I had to concentrate on the future.
!i! I lifted my skull to the tree tops. Each leaf was tinted with brown, yellow, red even gold. Each one was as beautiful as the last. Each one was yet unpolluted by what went on around them. I gently placed my tiara on the soft earthen ground. I might as well sleep untill the wind died of, then I would make my announcement. My twin soldiers still picked up the roaring that surrounded the clump of trees that I sheltered in. Sighing, I let my eyelids slowly droop as I entered a deep slumber.
!i! I awoke with a start, not remembering where I was. Outside it was silent, atlast the winds had stopped. The silence was definatly favoured by my harks then the droaning that was going on earlier on. I let out a joyful scream as my carcass started moving. There I twisted and turned through the closely grown trees. Soon enough I was out in the open again, where everything was still. Only the occasionable breeze ruffled my tassels at the knee high grass that surrounded the claiming grounds. The mares that where dotted around the place where in couplets. Either with a stallion or siblings. Now it was my time to wait, for I knew that someone would come. Something in my american paint blood told me so.
