CELESTIAL BEACH

A light mist lingers over the beach. Gentle waves forever lapping the golden sand. The beach goes on long into the distance, further than the eye can see. Small shrubs line the shore, where sand meets soil. Small beach huts are left untended, rotting, slowly being devoured by time. A tangle of ivy has grown up the side of one, breaking through the roof causing it to collapse in on itself. At first glance, this place would seem perfect, a paradise. It was unclear that this land was swamped with radiation, and on closer inspection you could see the damage. Some creatures were mutated, deformed, but it made no difference. The lush grass on the plain that backed the beach was inviting and nourishing, this is home.
