An abandon island, once home to over 100,000 humans, is now home to new creatures. The creatures, created by man, were a genetic experiment. A test to see what man could to with the different Horse breeds. When the horses escaped the humans feared the mutant animals would destroy the Island. So they destroyed it them selves. Thousands of human were killed but none of the horse were. So the humans gave up and left the horse to live on there own.
Since the humans left the Island has been split in half. The forest and beach area is home to the neutral and light herds. the Mountains and cliff area is home to the Dark herds. But the Dark herds are planing a take over of the island. They plan to kill ever horse that stands in there way. Will the Light herd be able to hold off the Dark? Will the Neutral herd choose sides? THERE IS NO BACK ROUND YET!![/glow]

i want to know; what makes these horses so different and terrifying? do all horses have to be terrifying? if they are tests with horse breeds, why are there still specific, distinctive, common breeds? why were these animals worth sacrificing humans for?

ok the animals are the horses, each breed had different mutations done to it but there breed standurds are the same. for example the friensians are still black and still have long hair and hair around there hooves.
They have horse, spicks, fangs, and other stuff. (I need Ideas for more mutations.)
Not all the horses have to look terrifying. Some can even look totally normal, but they have to have at least one mutation.
